Tauhîd (Islamic Monotheism) and Following
All praise is due to Allâh, Lord of the Worlds, Who has perfected our religion to us. And peace and blessings be upon whom Allâh has sent to the Worlds, the Prophet of guidance and mercy sent with the Book of Allâh and the Sunnah, and on his family, companions and followers all together. To proceed:Actually Allâh has tied up the brotherhood in Faith firmly with the Creed of Tauhîd that is the purpose in the creation existence, in sending Messengers and revealing Divine Books, And it is the renewers' Call in every time since there have always been people keeping for Allâh. Thus the Call of the Truth will never cease from this Ummah from the Prophetic period till the striking Hour. «A group of my Ummah would be always successful and in the right. Its opponents would not be able to harm it till the ordained Event (the Hour) of Allâh will come to pass and it (a group of may Ummah) will be so». [Agreed upon]. The characteristic of this Ummah is known by its adherents' positions in every generation to manifest Tauhîd and warn against Shirk (polytheism) and its different aspects; to distinguish the Sunnah from Bid ̀ah (innovation in matters of religion); to support the followers of the Truth and knowledge and increase their number; to reject the adherents of Shirk and Bida ̀ and weaken them. This group is not stopped by the different divisions of people. They have to comply with it in which enjoins, from the obedience of Allâh تعالى; from what it calls to from religion and does of which Allâh the Almighty loves. When wisdom is the believer's aim wherever he finds it; he is then more worthy of having it. Moreover they do not support anyone absolutely except the Messenger of Allâh . Nor a group but the Prophet's companions leaving outrageous treatment of statements and disdain of speech on any companion with evil. Thus all the adherents of this position agree upon the fact that every companion's statement is taken into account or left except Allâh's Messenger's Thanks to Allah none of their agreements fell in error. So this is one of the characteristics of the adherents of the Truth and features of the Saved Group that Allâh privileged Ahlus-Sunnah (those who abide by the Qur ́an and Sunnah in both faith and practice the way of companions and their successors) who call to non innovative reform from themselves as it is the matter of the Way of the adherents and followers of deviation and error. This is because the Way of reform is one and does not accept plurality. Its beauty crystallizes with the religion revival and renewal from hindrances and obstacles. There are not parts of it without causing change and substitution. Actually the religion is preserved and the argument still stands. And what the prophet traced is the essence of the reformative Way and there is no complete reform except with it, the one that the Favorite (Golden) Centuries followed. Their footsteps are preserved by scholars. The end of this Ummah will never be righteous except with which its beginning made to be so.The gathering of the Ummah on error is absurd. And the appearance of the path of the Truth is guidance, reform and rectification definitely. The permanence of its constancy is certain undoubtedly. «a promise of truth, which they have been promised» (Al-Ahqâf: 16). No hating talons and raging claws that are attached to can harm it. They neglect its dignity and pride. They want only to repel it, to impede its tread and to limit its spread. But its resistance is lasting, defying the overproud, the spiteful and the ignorant. Allâh is the All-Guider to the Right Path. The return of the Path is for Allâh's obedience, the obedience of His Messenger that people incites to perform good and righteous deeds and to dislike evil, depravity and abomination. This is the obedience that makes the self pure and complete that brings happiness in the World and in the Hereafter.«Indeed he succeeds who purifies his ownself (i. e. obeys and performs all that Allâh has ordered by following the Faith of Islamic Monotheism and by doing righteous good deeds). And indeed he fails who corrupts his ownself (i. e. disobeys what Allâh has ordered by rejecting the true Faith of Islamic Monotheism or by following polytheism and by committing every kind of sin)». (Ash-Shams: 9-10). «And whosoever obey Allâh and the Messenger (Muhammad ), then they will be in the company of those whom Allâh has bestowed His Grace, of the Prophets, the siddiqûn (those followers of the prophets who were first and foremost to believe in them, like Abu Bakr As-Siddiq ), the martyrs, and the righteous. And how excellent these companions are! Such is the Bounty from Allâh, and Allâh is Sufficient as All-Knower». (An-Nisâ ́: 69-70).The people of faith are united in their Creed and organization. It is a preferred Ummah unlike other nations. The usefulness and benefit of their religion are not restricted on the Ummah of Islâm only, but it concerns the whole humanity. It is suited for every time and place and includes all matters of life. Indeed for every problem there is a solution deduction from the evidences of Islamic legislation and general rules that are not lacking for others. Yet they dispense with the other systems and codifications. This is because they are based on a accurate rules. Their legal status are built on justice and moderation far from excess and negligence taking into account religious and worldly interests. Indeed they rise high independently from other human systems and rules in their stems and branches. That is the Favor that Allah the Almighty has completed on this Ummah perfectly, «This day, I have perfected your religion for you, and have chosen for your religion». (Al-Mâ ́idah: 3). Actually the perfection and completeness of religion is decreed and it gets along without the innovators' additions and the recantations of those who renounce the Truth. And in the crowd of the Call strive, in fact the most precious thing that the Caller of Islâm offers to his Ummah is to put it on the correct way that achieves the actual meaning of change. «Verily, Allâh will not change the (good) conditions of a people as long as they do not change their state (of goodness) themselves (by committing sins and by being ungrateful and disobedient to Allâh)». (Ar-Ra ̀d: 11) without a rush involving in evil and perversion. We ask Allâh help and pertinence. And we also ask Him to grant us the good manners of the truthful Callers and to show us the Way of the Prophet, the masters of the first and last, to follow. And the good end is for the Muttaqîn (the pious and righteous persons). Our Final prayer is all praise be to Allâh, Lord of the Worlds.
